CDL ELDT School Bus Endorsement & ELDT Training

Our company provides comprehensive training for School Bus CDL endorsement. As an approved provider by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), we offer ELDT Theory and Behind The Wheel Range and Road training for school buses. In addition, we offer School Bus rentals for Texas Department of Public Safety CDL tests. Our services cover all aspects of passenger bus training, including the pre-trip inspection, backing maneuvers, and road driving. With our reliable and efficient services, you can trust us to help you successfully obtain your School Bus CDL.

 

A Class B CDL with a passenger bus & school bus endorsements is required before you can drive a school bus. To obtain this you must complete the ELDT Theory Passenger Bus course as the first step then the second step is complete the ELDT Theory School Bus course. You must also complete the passenger & school bus endorsements at the Texas Department of Public Safety driver license office.  Our course meets the ELDT requirements for passenger bus & school bus endorsements.  Upon completion of the ELDT passenger bus & school bus courses, the FMCSA will be notified and you may go to the DPS to have the endorsements added to your license.

The Passenger Bus & School Bus Endorsement Theory is a  ELDT training program provided at our training facility. It is a mandatory requirement for acquiring a School Bus Endorsement, fully approved by the FMCSA, and offers immediate reporting to the FMCSA upon successful completion.fI you are planning to operate passenger-carrying commercial vehicles, including busdrivers, shuttle drivers, and school bus drivers, in Texas then you are required toobtain a  Passenger Endorsement. However when you carry children is a bus for schoolyou must have a school bus endorsement and the passenger endorsement.

 

To obtain the School Bus Endorsement, you will need to pass the passenger bus & school bus knowledge tests at the TXDPS and then a skills test at the TXDPS where an examiner assesses your ability to safely operate passenger-carrying vehicles.

Individuals with an existing CDL can still enroll in a Passenger Bus & School Bus Endorsement course to add this endorsement to their commercial driver's license. The ELDT Theory & BTW (Behind-The-Wheel) Range & Road.
