Traveling from Tulsa for CDL range and road training
Before you leave Tulsa, Broken Arrow or Owasso, decide whether you need training, a test vehicle, or both. You may be able to complete a Texas training activity and take your skills test back in Oklahoma. Ask us about that plan as well as the option of testing in Texas.

Choose where you intend to test
If you plan to test at home, ask your Oklahoma office about your class and endorsement and how it checks your training record. If you want to test in Texas after training here, ask the Texas office whether it will test your Oklahoma permit and transmit the result. Confirm the intended arrangement before requesting days off.
For a passenger or school bus job, involve the employer
Give the fleet manager the bus information and ask whether Oklahoma or the employer requires additional school-bus qualifications. Ask about the proper P or S curriculum for a first endorsement. A truck ELDT record alone does not establish completion of a different endorsement curriculum.
Check what will be entered on your training record
Tell the provider your license state, class and endorsement through the appropriate registration process. Ask when completed training is reported. We discuss range and public-road work separately from a rental and document proficiency before reporting completion.
What drivers ask us
Is an open Texas bus reservation enough to book my trip?
Confirm training eligibility, the testing state’s acceptance of your permit and the actual test appointment first. Then have us confirm a bus that fits that appointment.
Choose your next step
