A self-directed alternative to a traditional CDL school

Get Your CDL Quick offers vehicle rental and limited vehicle familiarization for customers who arrive with previously acquired knowledge and skills from experience or independent self-study. This service model is intended as an alternative to a traditional CDL school program. The paid rental and familiarization services do not provide a comprehensive beginner curriculum or classroom instruction. Customers prepare and progress according to their existing ability.

Required FMCSA ELDT behind-the-wheel training is a separate, proficiency-based activity. Our Texas Workforce Commission exemption request is pending; TWC has not granted an exemption. Describing the business as an alternative to a school does not establish its regulatory status.

Match the rental to your Texas DPS test

Tell us whether you need a Class A combination, Class B straight truck, passenger bus or school bus vehicle. Include your test office, date, current permit or license and the transmission and brake configuration you need. A request lets us review availability; it does not reserve a vehicle until the details are confirmed.

Arrange familiarization before test day

A vehicle you have not operated can feel different even when you have commercial driving experience. Review controls, component locations and dimensions through individually selected pre-trip, backing or road familiarization. Read the published schedules, fees, advance disclosures and refund terms before selecting services.

Plan travel from your Texas town

Our physical vehicle location is in Royse City, convenient to Dallas/Fort Worth and Northeast Texas. Customers from any Texas town may request service. Tell us where you live and where you plan to test so we can discuss travel, vehicle availability and scheduling before you make arrangements. Plan your visit from anywhere in Texas.

Questions before you arrange service

Is the DPS skills test fee included in a rental inquiry?

Ask for a written breakdown of the selected vehicle and services. DPS licensing and testing requirements are separate from our rental and familiarization services.

Can I request a bus instead of a truck?

Yes. Tell us whether you need passenger or school bus vehicle options. Availability, vehicle suitability and the applicable endorsement requirements need individual confirmation.
